Police parade suspected looters and prison escapees in Edo
TRACKING___The Edo state police command today October 28, paraded 106 persons accused of partaking in the looting of public and private warehouses last week.
The looting occurred in the wake of the crisis that erupted in the state after hoodlums hijacked the peaceful #EndSARS protest.
Also paraded were 10 prison inmates who escaped during the jailbreak at the Sapele Road and Oko correctional centers in the state on October 19.
Parading the criminals before newsmen today, the state Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo, said the inmates will be returned to the correctional facility while the looters will be prosecuted accordingly.
