With Pointed Guns from Both Sides, Rivers State Monarch Speaks from Kidnappers’ Den, ( Watch Video)
The traditional ruler of Andoani local government in Rivers State who was kidnapped alongside his chiefs about five days ago has been made to speak out by his abductors at a gunpoint.
The video which was posted by Punch Newspaper has since gone viral with litany of reactions on twitter.
Speaking in the video, the monarch explained that the youths of Andoani are not happy with the traditional ruler, chiefs and politicians in the area. He claimed that is the reason for their incarceration for the past five days.
According to him, the youths felt neglected by politicians and community leaders in the area. They also frowned at the incessant arrest of their members by police and other security operatives of the government.
They also warned that if they don’t handle the current situation with sensitivity, the monarch and the entire chiefs will be killed.
The monarch made the speech from an unseen paper with two gunmen pointing their guns at him from both sides. The incident reportedly happened at the local government a few day ago and the whereabout of the monarch and his chiefs are yet unknown neither has anyone called to negotiate for their ransome.
