Architectonic LTD Hands Over Bauchi Governor’s Office Complex for Next 50 Years

In a significant milestone for Bauchi State, the new governor’s office complex at the Government House has been completed and handed over by Messrs Architectonic LTD. Mr. Reuben Okoya, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the contracting firm, expressed confidence in the state government’s commitment to maintaining the edifice for the next 50 years.

Dispelling notions of the project being a white-elephant endeavor, Mr. Okoya emphasized its monumental significance for the state’s infrastructural development. He highlighted the tireless efforts of his company over three years to bring the project to fruition.

Governor Bala Mohammed was praised for his vision and leadership in spearheading such a substantial project, especially amidst financial constraints. The completed complex boasts 61 offices, a significant increase from the previous 23, and 11 meeting chambers, including an expanded exco chamber.

Rt. Hon. Danlami Ahmed Kawule, the state commissioner for housing and environment, received the keys to the offices, expressing confidence that the new facility would provide a conducive working environment for the governor and support staff, thereby enhancing efficiency in governance.
