Asiwaju Osogbo Omidiran dies at 95
A prominent indigene of Osogbo in Osun State and Asiwaju of the community, Pa Ahmed Omidiran has died at the age of 95.
A statement by the family spokesperson Babatunde Omidiran disclosed that Pa Omidiran passed away in the early hours of Sunday.
He noted that a special prayer was held in honour of the deceased at the Osogbo Central Mosque at 4pm.
The statement added that further announcements concerning the burial will be made later.
Pa Omidiran, a business mogul, is reputed as having contributed to the community’s development.
