“Reverend Father Nwadike was abducted just moments after leaving the school for an official assignment in Enugu.” He was abducted along the Okigwe-Enugu expressway in Umunneochi Local Government Area. His kidnappers are now demanding N50 million in ransom. We’re pleading with them to let him go unharmed because we don’t know where we’ll get such a large sum. The state and federal governments should take immediate action to address the security situation in Umunneochi. Everyone is terrified of traveling. People are kidnapped on a daily basis, especially on the expressway, with security agencies on the lookout, according to the sources.
