Days After Appointing His Son As Head Of Agency, Akeredolu Makes New Appointments
A week after giving his son an appointment, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has made new appointments.
The new appointments were announced in a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo, on Thursday.
www.tracknews.ng had reported that the governor had appointed his son, Babajide Akeredolu, as the new Director-General of the Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit, Governor’s Office (PPIMU).
Ojogo said that the appointments of seven directors were approved by the governor to represent the state on the board of some companies.
He passed on the governor’s congratulatory messages to the new appointees, appealing to them to continue their quota to the economic development of the state.
Ojogo added that Governor Akeredolu asked the appointees to protect the interest of the state in their respective companies.
He said Dr Remi Olatubora and High Chief Stephen Arowojolu have been appointed into Ore Irele Oil Palm Company Ltd. while Faloye Adefolahan was appointed into EPL Sunshine Ltd.
Ojogo added that Pastor Olugbenga Olumolawa was appointed into FCA- EPL Sunshine Ltd; Yisa Bakare for Jonvic Quadknight Sunshine Ltd; Prince Olabiyi Poroye appointed into the Alpha 3D Company Ltd; and Hon. Stephen Olemija for Alpha 3D Company Ltd.
