By Adeleye Kunle
The Bauchi Police Command has confirmed the death of Mua’zu Danladi, a 25-year-old relative of former Bauchi Governor Adamu Mu’azu, as well as the kidnapping of three other family members by unknown assailants.
When the incident occurred, the kidnappers invaded Boto village in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area.
The gunmen attacked the village around 1.30 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Bauchi Police spokesman SP Ahmed Wakil.
According to him, the Boto police division received a distress call reporting that gunmen suspected of being kidnappers had invaded Boto village and killed one person.

The gunmen escaped with the victims, according to Wakil, despite the fact that the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Tafawa Balewa Division immediately swung into action and rushed to the village with his men.
“Our men are now combing the bushes for the criminals.” “Inshallah, we will find them, arrest them, and bring them to justice,” he promised.
The gunmen attacked Muazu’s village, thinking he was there for the Sallah celebrations, according to Track News.
Hajiya Asma’u Alhaji Adamu, the younger sister of the former Governor, Malama Halima Abdullahi, and one Nura were among those kidnapped, according to a family member.
