On the day of the transfer deadline, Zakaria signed a season-long loan agreement with a buy option with the Blues.

The agreement was finalized in the wee hours of Friday morning after the midfielder underwent a medical in Turin on Thursday evening.

Denis is a gifted midfielder with a lot of flair and technique, according to Boehly, who spoke to the club’s official website.
