The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and his predecessor, Senator Rochas Okorocha have been captured in a video hugging each other at a public event.

The two leaders are believed to be at loggerheads over the management of the state but put that aside to display the open show of affection during a recent public event.

Though the time and location of what transpired couldn’t be independently confirmed by our correspondent, Okorocha was seen coming into the venue while Uzodinma was already sitted.

The former Governor of Imo State, in a statement released through his media aide, Sam Onwuemeodo, said the state Governor has started demolition of about sixteen pedestrian bridges he constructed while in office.

According to Okorocha, Uzodinma’s administration derives its strength and joy from the suffering and tears of Imo people.

Okorocha added that the people of the state are suffering due to the anti-people policies and actions of the Imo government.
