IPF applauds Kestin Pondi for award of 35 scholarships to Ijaw students to study Ijaw in Delta
Warri _ The Ijaw Publishers’ Forum, IPF, has commended its patron, Chief Kestin Pondi, the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited for awarding 35 scholarship to deserving Ijaw sons and daughters, (including accommodation) to study Ijaw language in College of Education, Warri, Delta State of Nigeria.
The IPF’s president, Comrade Ozobo Austin made the commendation while addressing section of the media on the need of Ijaw political office holders to use their offices to groom youth and attract meaningful development to their communities during the weekend.
According to him, the gesture of Pondi had expressly stated his love for the Ijaw language, his people, desire to preserve the Ijaw language from going extinction, and it further showed his passionate desire to help humanity across board, adding that what he had done is one of the best services offered to Ijaw nation.
