Kaduna Governor Acknowledges Setbacks, Vows Unified Front for Success Amid Armed Forces Remembrance Day

In a poignant ceremony during the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, openly acknowledged recent setbacks in the ongoing battle against banditry and terrorism in the state. Expressing his concerns, Governor Sani laid a wreath in honor of the fallen heroes, emphasizing the need for a collective and determined effort to overcome the challenges.

“Recent weeks have seen unfortunate setbacks in our fight against banditry and terrorism. However, I remain confident in the resilience of our armed forces,” Governor Sani stated during the solemn occasion.

Addressing the reported cases of banditry attacks in Kaduna and parts of Abuja, Governor Sani highlighted his confidence in the commitment of the Nigerian Armed Forces to bring an end to these security threats. He noted that President’s directive to establish a timeframe for the resolution of the crisis demonstrates a strong resolve at the highest level.
