Lai Mohammed replies those demanding Nigeria’s split

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has reiterated that the unity of Nigeria remains unshaken.
Mohammed spoke in Calabar after a performance by the cultural troupe of the Department of Culture and Heritage, Cross River Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The event is part of the activities for the celebration of the 2022 World Tourism Day the state is hosting.
Mohammed, in reaction to the dances and stage play, told those clamouring for separation to drop the agitation.
The minister said the unity of the people for decades was a pointer to the importance of peaceful coexistence in the country.
Mohammed stated that the performance of the troupe was “world class by any rate”.
“I wish that those who said Nigeria is at war should witness what we have seen today”
“Those who said Nigeria has no future, I wish they were here today.
“The drama of unity means not one of us can do it alone. Anyone that has witnessed war before will never wish for war or separation”, he said
