MC Oluomo pleaded with disgruntled commercial bus drivers.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
The chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, well known as MC Oluomo, pleaded with disgruntled commercial bus operators to keep their cool yesterday.
The bus businesses complained that members of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offenses Unit had been intimidating their staff on a regular basis (Taskforce).
The taskforce authorities, according to the bus drivers, unlawfully detained their vehicles and demanded exorbitant fees to get them freed at Alausa.
Bus company executive Ganiyu Ibrahim said that taskforce investigators do investigate Alimosho’s parks as early as 5am.
Akinsanya promised to contact taskforce chief Shola Jejeloye through his deputy, Sulaimon Ojora.
He requested them to return to their parks and assured them that he would bring the matter before Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
