NAFDAC has issued alerts about counterfeit Paracetamol injections discovered during monitoring in Abuja,
The findings were uncovered during a thorough monitoring operation carried out by the post-marketing surveillance (PMS) team of the Agency in FCT, Abuja.

After conducting a thorough laboratory analysis of the counterfeit product, NAFDAC Laboratory in Kaduna verified that the product solely contained paracetamol.
This finding contradicts the product’s labeled composition as an Aminoglycoside Antibacterial.
Aminoglycosides, a type of antibiotics, are commonly employed to target difficult bacterial infections.
