15 Prisoners To Graduate With 1st Degrees In FCT – Buhari’s Aide Reveals
The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, revealed on Tuesday, April 13 that no fewer than fifteen prisoners will soon become 1st-degree graduates.
The presidential aide in a post on her verified Twitter account this morning, disclosed that an inmate in Lagos Correctional centre just defended his PhD thesis.
Praising the Buhari administration under which she is serving, Lauretta said the government is doing a great job in reforming the prison system in the country.
She tweeted: “There are up to 15 Prisoners, who will soon graduate with their 1st degrees in FCT Correctional Facilities.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Correctional Service on Monday disclosed the 107 inmates that escaped from the Owerri facility have either returned or been arrested.
The development was confirmed l the spokesman of NCS, Francis Enobore, on Monday. He noted that more inmates would return with the release of the fleeing inmates’ photographs and bio-data, TrackNews Online reports.
