Buhari to address Nigerians on Independence Day
President Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday morning address the country through a televised broadcast in commemoration of the 61st Independence Day Anniversary of the country.
This was disclosed in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina on Thursday evening.
The statement, however, advised all television and radio stations, as well as other electronic media outlets to hook up with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the address.
“As part of activities marking the 61st Independence Anniversary of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 7am.
“All television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), respectively, for the address,” the statement reads.
