Political analyst Nnaemeka Obiaraeri has raised concerns about the harassment of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, following the presidential election. During an interview, Nnaemeka questioned why Obi, who reportedly came third in the election, is the target of such harassment. This raises questions about the fairness and impartiality of the election process.

Nnaemeka went on to draw attention to the fact that the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had promised that the election results would be uploaded in real-time. However, despite this promise being captured on video, the chairman has since stated that it is not mandatory to do so. This has caused further doubts about the transparency of the election process, particularly regarding the accuracy of the results.

Nnaemeka also questioned why the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku, who came second in the election, is not facing similar harassment. He believes that the authorities may be aware of the truth behind the election results but are not acknowledging it due to a psychological issue. This raises serious concerns about the political climate in the country and the potential for bias and discrimination.

According to him: “It is said that a thief knows who owns the goods and tries to oppress the owner. Lai Mohammed went to the US to make allegations that could not be proven against Peter Obi. Obi has conducted himself in the noblest manner conceivable.”
