Elisha Abbo, the leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has reacted to the party’s defeat in the recently concluded Osun governorship election, TrackNews reports.
Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party’s Governorship candidate, won the election with 403,371 votes. Adegboyega Oyetola, the state’s sitting governor, came in second with 375,927 votes.

While reacting to the election results, Abbo, the current senator representing Adamawa North in the Nigerian Senate, mocked the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Remember that the Senator resigned from Tinubu’s support group after Tinubu announced former Borno state governor Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

According to Abbo, the APC candidate formed a committee that strategized and concluded that Tinubu should not pick a Muslim as his running mate, but Tinubu threw away the report.

To express his displeasure with Tinubu once more, the senator took to Facebook after INEC declared the PDP the winner of the election and wrote: “APC won 13 local government areas and PDP won 17 local government areas.” The PDP received approximately 28,371 votes. Tinubu’s ancestors are from Osun. Please pray for Tinubu.”
