NYSC trains legal officers to improve their performance.
Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has provided training to newly converted legal officers in order to improve their performance.
The training, according to the organization, will broaden their understanding as legal officers.
Brig Gen Muhammad Fadah, Director General, addressed a training session in Abuja.
Fadah, represented by Director of Information and Communication Technology, Mrs Christy Uba, said the workshop would provide participants with a better understanding of their roles in legal service delivery.
“As part of measures to improve NYSC operations, management approved the conversion of some staff to the legal officers cadre in order to strengthen the Legal Unit,” he said.
Tijani Ibrahim, Director of Legal Services, stated that the training was planned in accordance with the Council of Legal Education Policy on continuing legal education training and re-training of legal officers in order to improve competence and capacity building in legal service delivery.
