Olusegun Mimiko Applauds Wike for Rivers Infrastructure Improvement
Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has been praised for his administration’s accomplishments in the state’s infrastructure development.
According to Track News, Olusegun Mimiko, the former governor of Ondo State, has praised Wike’s initiatives to improve the health infrastructure in Rivers, which he regarded as an important step toward the provision of high-quality healthcare.
The investment drive of the Rivers governor, according to Mimiko, who is a supporter of the five disgruntled Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors collectively known as the G5 and led by Wike, is radical and unique.
In a statement released by his media assistant, John Paul Akinduro, the former governor of Ondo State claimed that Wike stands apart in the political landscape of Nigeria because of his successes.
Wike has been dubbed the unmistakable face of the movement for social justice, according to Mimiko, who made the commendation at the start of the construction of the Indorama – Agbonchia – Ogale – Ebubu – East/West Link road in Rivers State. She added that in a multiethnic society like Nigeria, equality in politics emphasizes the importance of identity.
Mimiko praised Wike for starting programs with elements aimed at reducing poverty and added, “The development of the human capital factor is apparent. It is also impossible to deny the tangible ways in which Governor Wike’s committed leadership has raised the value of the Rivers people and gained them respect nationwide.
“It is false to imply that identification can be overlooked in such a situation. Regional groups’ and indeed every demographic compartment’s sense of equality, justice, and fairness simply cannot be sacrificed on the altar of political expediency, braggadocio, or convenience
