Owo Massacre: Former Super Eagles Star Mikel Obi Reacts To The Gruesome Murder
Former Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi has reacted to the horrendous slaughter of worshippers in the catholic church at Owo.
The dire incident which led to the death of about 70 Nigerians occurred on Sunday at Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo.
Reacting, the former Super Eagles captain sent his condolences to the bereaved in a message on his Instagram page.
He wrote: “It is sad to hear about the horrible incident that happened in Owo Ondo State.
My heart goes out to the families that lost their loved ones to this very very sad incident. May God heal our land and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.”
Meanwhile, Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo has joined other celebrities to condemn the attack on the Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State.
Since the news of the sad incident broke online on Sunday afternoon, the country has been thrown into a state of mourning.
Taking to Instagram, RMD shared a gloomy picture, showcasing the current situation that Nigerians are battling.
