TUG Of War Tournament For Climate Change: George Turnah, MON Fulfills Promise To Team Kolo 3

Hon. Chief (Barr.) Alabh George Turnah (MON) has fulfilled his financial promise to Team Kolo 3 for their exceptional display during the Azibola Robert’s Tug of War Tournament for Climate Change.

George Turnah, who was represented by his Personal Assistant, James Afebo presented the cash gift to youths of the community in Kolo 3 Town, Ogbia Council Area of Bayelsa State.

He said although Team Kolo 3 could not emerge Winner of the tournament, they made the community proud by their doggedness, show of strength and entertaining prowess.

The Tug of War Tournament brought 16 communities youths to tug against each other for the grand prize, as part of a campaign against climate change in Nigeria and deforestation of the Niger Delta Rain Forest.

Thrilled by the exceptional performances of Team Kolo 3, High Chief Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON pledged a cash gift for the team, which he has now fulfilled.
