The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, says his administration, in the last three and half years, has been able to increase its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to over N100 billion post-COVID-19

Abiodun, who made this known during the celebration of Ijebu sons and daughters by the Ijebu Heritage Group in Lagos State, said that his administration was able to achieve the huge increase in its IGR through some of its deliberate programmes aimed at creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state.

Abiodun, while adding that his administration would continue to take advantage of its competitive and comparative advantage over other states in the country, promised that his administration would also ensure the provision of a focused and qualitative governance whilst creating an enabling environment for public-private sector partnership in the state.

He noted that his administration has constructed over 400 kilometres of road, built over 1,200 affordable housing units, and increased the fleet of ambulances from the five it met on ground to over 50, adding that his administration was nearing the completion of the international agro cargo airport
