Biden reacts to assassination of Haiti President, Moise
The United State President, Joe Biden, has condemned the “heinous’’ assassination of Haitian President, Jovenel Moise and offered Washington’s support to the crisis-torn Caribbean island.
TrackNews Online had reported that unknown gunmen on Tuesday assassinated President Jovenel Moise of Haiti at his private residence.
A statement by the Country’s interim prime minister, Claude Joseph, said Moise was fatally wounded by the unidentified men.
Biden in a statement on Wednesday while expressing shock, condemned the act.

“We condemn this heinous act, and I am sending my sincere wishes for First Lady Moise’s recovery.
“The United States offers condolences to the people of Haiti, and we stand ready to assist as we continue to work for a safe and secure Haiti.
A short while later, in an exchange with reporters, Biden said: “We need a lot more information but it is very worrisome about the state of Haiti.’’
