2023: We Are Not Fearful of Atiku; Our Concern Is With Peter Obi, APC Chieftain

Osita Okechukwu, an All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain, has stated that the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is the only major contender the party recognizes.
Okechukwu insisted that the APC is not concerned about the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s loss of support.

The APC stalwart stated that his party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is still the best candidate in the upcoming election.

On Monday’s Arise Television Morning Show, the Director General of the Voice of Nigeria argued that the former Lagos Governor has come a long way and knows the country like the back of his hand.

“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, what nobody can deny is that he knows the onion,” he says. He understands the gravitas, he understands the country, and he has come a long way. And we are unconcerned about the PDP; for example, Atiku has lost his base.

“We’re more concerned with Peter Obi and others.” We know Kwankwaso is qualified and capable, but he is running against the zoning convention. So, if you tell us about Peter Obi, we can say, okay, that’s where we’re concerned, but not about Atiku, who’s lost his base.

“Those who claim that Atiku cannot win should be challenged.” He will not be able to harvest Buhari’s 12 million votes. He does not have Buhari’s support.”
