APC chieftain: Buhari should face Atiku in open debate
The National Chairman of Buhari/Ganduje Door-To-Door Campaign Organisation, Atiku Ahmad Dungurawa, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to honour an open debate invitation with the PDP presidential candidate and former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, arguing that Buhari had enough evidence to defeat Atiku hands down.
Speaking in Kano, Dungurawa urged President Buhari to respect the open invitation by honouring the presidential debate against the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, coming up January 19, 2019, organised by Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON).
National chairman of the campaign organisation, Atiku Ahmad Dongurawa, who spoke with reporters, said President Buhari’s credential speaks volume of his laudable achievements in many areas of human endeavours, to stand any public debate with opposition parties.
Dungurawa, also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Chairman, Nigeria Hydrological Services and the pioneer Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Kano State University of Technology, Wudil, said the president’s accomplishments in the diversification of economy, agriculture, security, infrastructural development, power generation and the most celebrated war against corruption in Nigeria stood tall and above the 16 years records of PDP’s administration.
