Because You Lost, You Want To Force Us To Believe That The Election Was Rigged For Tinubu —Betta Edu

The National Women Leader of the APC, Betta Edu, has reacted to claims that Tinubu won the 2023 presidential election because the electoral process was rigged.

Speaking during an interview on TVC , she stated that it’s quite laughable that people would make such claims, even when Tinubu lost in some of his strongholds where they never expected him to lose.

She said: “We can not all believe that the election was not credible just because you lost an election. APC lost in Lagos, Kano, Cross River and even in the president’s home state. APC would not have lost in these places if we had a hand in this election, we would not. The President would not sit down, and lose in his own home state, his party lost in his own home state. If he was manipulating the process, will he manipulate himself to fail? Face the fact, others based their campaigns on ethnicity and religion, it was only Tinubu who campaigned on issues affecting the people, that is why he won.”
