The governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, while speaking on his development plans for the people of Rivers State, revealed that in his 100 days in office, he’ll make sure that the projects that will be commissioned spread around the 23 local government areas of the state.

The Rivers State Governor further stated that he’s promised to help more people orient projects across the board. According to him, “From here to the other side is a 240-metre bridge that leads to Apkade. So we know what it means if this project is completed. Abua doesn’t need to pass through the Ahoada axis because from here, they’re in Emohua, and from Emohua, they’re already in the heart of the city, so we’re going to complete it. This is the project that will have a direct bearing on the lives of our people. Government is about making people happy by providing the needed facilities.””

Speaking further, he said, “In our 100 days in office, we’ll try to make sure that the project that will be commissioned will spread around the 23 local governments. If we can’t capture the 23, there should be about 3 to 4 projects in each of the senatorial districts, but in all, we must give our people what will make them happy. Priority projects in ensuring that both the ongoing and even initiating new ones that’ll be very important and vital to the economic growth of our state and the things we’ll continue to do and we’ll do.”
