Labour Party votes for Wike’s LG on INEC portal is 70,000 but INEC announced 3,829 votes-Dino Melaye

Yesterday, Senator Dino Melaye, who happens to be one of the the spokesman for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the recently concluded presidential election, has said that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, cheated the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi while the Commission’s chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, was announcing the results last week.

Prior Dino Melaye’s claim, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Labour Party, accused Mahmood Yakubu of rigging the presidential election in favour of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu but, the commission debunked the claims.

While he was giving update on this last night, Senator Dino Melaye said that, in Rivers State, the votes that the Labour Party’s presidential candidate had in Governor Nyesom Wike’s Local Government (Obio Akpor) was 70,186 votes, while the All Progressives Congress, APC, had 12,547 votes.

Further talking, he said that, when INEC was announcing the results, they claimed that the Labour Party had 3,829 votes while the APC had 80,239 votes, which is a form of rigging.

He said, “Governor Wike’s Obio Akpor LGA results in Rivers State on INEC Portal.

LP: 70,186 and APC: 12,547. But, INEC announced, APC: 80239 and LP: 3829. Imagine this INEC magic. SDM”
