Nigeria Decides 2023: NCP endorses Tinubu ahead of Saturday’s election
Barely 24 before the 2023 general election, the National Conscience Party, NCP, has endorsed the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Leaders of the party took the decision after its emergency National Coordinating Council meeting in Abuja.
A Communique signed by Adebola Lateef, National Secretary; Pastor Peters Omoragbon, NDC South-South; and Comrade Waheed Lawal, Acting National Chairman was issued at the end of the meeting.
The party also denied endorsing the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, stressing that its leadership was not consulted by the former chairman of the party, Mallam Tanko Yunusa.
“As a result, the NCP preferred presidential candidate is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and we reject Peter Obi as the NCP candidate,” the communique added
