Nwoko: Wike will be charged in court for the deaths of 25 children during his administration
A billionaire businessman, Ned Nwoko, has claimed that the Rivers state government, led by Nyesom Wike, is to blame for the deaths of twenty-five children hospitalized in a Rivers-owned hospital.
Nwoko claimed in a statement obtained by Track News from his Media Directorate that the children on life support died because the hospital couldn’t afford electricity.
Nwoko made the statement in response to Wike’s claims about Paris Club refunds and alleged 13% derivation payments to the South-South States.
Wike, he contended, could not point fingers at governors for corrupt practices when his own fingers were soiled.
“Wike mentioned corruption among some governors,” he explained. A kettle cannot call a pot black. A man whose hands are stained with filthy lucre has no moral standing to speak about embezzlement. It is a heinous crime to be sanctimonious. Wike, despite his deception, has put himself in danger of being imprisoned.
“In case Wike has forgotten, 25 innocent children on life support died at the same hour in a Rivers State-owned hospital because the hospital couldn’t afford electricity.” He was unable to provide electricity because he had diverted all funds to meaningless self-promotional ventures.
“When the appropriate time comes, when his dictatorial reign on the throne ends, he will undoubtedly face criminal negligence charges at the International Court of Justice for the tragic deaths of those children.”
“It is laughable that a man with monumental corrupt tendencies and wanton profligacy could speak so openly when his actions imply unimaginable deception and fraud.”
