OPM General Overseer Begs: “Don’t Drag Me Into Politics”
lbekimi Oriamaja Reports
Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the general overseer of the Omega Power Ministry (OPM), has pleaded with lawmakers all over the nation to keep him out of politics.
According to Apostle Chinyere, his mission is to help the oppressed in society and get people ready for heaven, not to get engaged in politics.
You may remember that Uchendu Godswill, a crippled young man seen in a popular Facebook video lugging blocks with clutches, was recently granted an international scholarship by the clergy of a prominent Christian organization with headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The clergyman stated that the goal of his charitable operations was to raise many Nigerians out of poverty despite admitting that he had turned down numerous offers from politicians.
He declared, “I Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), urge on well-wishers and followers to let me to concentrate on assisting people in getting to heaven, which is my top priority, as well as charitable and humanitarian endeavors, which please God.
I’ll say it again: I’m not a politician, so please don’t bring up politics in conversation. As a result, I urge people to pay attention to my spiritual guidance, gospel words, and charitable efforts, which have helped countless Nigerians escape poverty.
“I am not a politician and do not belong to any political party.
“For the past few days I received several invitations for political events and have declined them because I am a preacher of the gospel who believes in practical Christianity which is evidenced in the lives of people who have been delivered from their spiritual problems and financial difficulties.
“This declaration is necessary to inform the public that, during the years I have been in ministry, I have only ever enjoyed using the resources provided to me by God to further the kingdom of God and positively impact people’s lives, never for political purposes.
Apostle Chinyere appealed, “I will appreciate it if Nigerians keep me out of any political concerns to let me to focus on my ministry and humanitarian efforts which have changed many lives and made God pleased.
