Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, a former Edo state governor and national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has charged Peter Obi, the front-runner for the presidency of the Labour Party (LP), with neglecting to address insecurity in Anambra state when he was governor.
Speaking at the APC’s youth summit in Abuja’s International Conference Center, Oshiomhole made this statement.

Oshiomhole expressed his views on the government of Obi and said that Willie Obiano, who succeeded Obi, destroyed the homes of kidnappers and Bakassi youths when he was in charge.

He claimed that even though the Bakassi Boys were formed during Obi’s leadership, he was powerless to stop them.

Oshiomhole questioned how Obi would address the country’s problems given that he was unable to ensure the security of his state while serving as governor.

There are issues here that you need to talk about, he added to the social media warriors. Look up the first six months of Governor Obiano’s rule in Anambra state on Google.

You can watch Governor Obiano destroy the homes of kidnappers, known back then as “Bakassi lads” and “Bakassi girls,” on YouTube.

Who served as governor during Bakassi’s development, and who found a solution? Therefore, it takes guts for a guy to be unable to resolve a security issue within his own country. How can he persuade you that he would address the security issues in Nigeria as a whole?

“Don’t take it from me; go at the first six to nine months of Governor Obiano on YouTube, then ask yourself who his predecessor was. It will tell you that it was Peter.”

He maintained that Obiano would not have spent his first six months in government destroying bandit homes if Obi had performed well while in office.
