Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential flag-bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will soon return to the country in a bid to attend the grand rally of the party in Osun State, the Track News Nigeria learnt.

Our Correspondent, Mr. Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed, says that Atiku will not stay long in Europe as a result of the final rally ahead the gubernatorial election slated for Saturday.

Recall that Atiku has away from Nigeria for almost a month now in the midst of the scuffle rocking his party on his choice of the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, as his running mate.

Recall our earlier report that Atiku left for this European trip for his Master’s Degree Convocation at Anglia Ruskin University, scheduled to hold in Chelmsford and Peterborough from Monday, 11 July until Friday, 29 July.

Atiku was criticised for his absence at the Ekiti governorship campaign rally which some members linked to the loss of the party’s governorship candidate, Bisi Kolawole.

A reliable source told Track News Nigeria that the PDP has been taking different moves to close the crisis in its circle before the Osun governorship election.
