The Chairman of the Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sunday Bisi, has ignited a political war, pledging to lead an attack on the factional members led by Dotun Babayemi.

In response to the recently launched ‘Atunto’ cooperative society by Babayemi’s faction, Bisi declared the group suspended and called for a relentless response against its members. Accusing them of colluding with the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bisi labeled them as agents working against the PDP’s interests.

In a stern warning delivered in both Yoruba and English, Bisi stated, “I am an Ijesa man, and in fact, we Ijesa are known for war. If you see these people (Babayemi’s group) who call themselves ‘Atunto’ in this local government, drive them away until they become useless. If I see any of such, I will personally lead the war to their camp and beat them thoroughly.” The political landscape in Osun takes an intense turn as factional clashes escalate within the PDP.
