At a news conference in Abuja titled “Journey to Nigeria’s Rebirth Begins Today,” Obi stated that he chose Baba-Ahmed because of his exceptional qualifications.
“I am delighted to introduce you to Sen. Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, whom I regard as a friend, a younger brother, and, God willing, Nigeria’s next Vice President.”

“He has been dubbed one of Nigeria’s brightest and youngest personalities, excelling in all fields.”

“He brings a wealth of experience from the private to public sectors, as well as global knowledge, to this mission, which will help in the journey of turning this country around.”

“Today, our country faces numerous challenges, which I will not discuss because the purpose of this meeting is to introduce our Vice President candidate.”

“It would be a disservice to the country if I did not mention some of them; we are now the world’s poorest country.”

“We are now massively in debt; people are hungry and angry, all because of bad leadership,” Obi explained.

Obi went on to say that the party would bring all Nigerians together under a single banner, with everyone working to end primitive politics based on ethnicity, religion, and other factors.

He stated that the party would gather a group of people who would collaborate to build the Nigeria that they desired and hoped for.

“With our combined experience, we’ll be able to jumpstart this process.” We will be able to release policies and manifestos based on the 17 SDG positions within the next few days or so, now that the nominations cycle has concluded.

“In order to ensure the country’s security, unity, and productivity, we must save it.”

Obi stated that the party intended to convert vast swaths of land in the north to oil, adding that the land would be treated as an equivalent asset and used for agricultural purposes.

He claimed that the knowledge of the two candidates from the private sector would transform and revitalize the country.

“We will not be alone; this election is yours, not ours.” Those who discuss structures should also discuss your children and family, because you are the structures. They won’t be able to scare us for much longer with those words.

“We will retake and even structure our country; their structures will become our structures, and they will follow us,” he declared.
