The senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Abdulaziz Yari, has donated N300 million to officials and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
TRACKNEWS reports that the announcement of this generous donation was made by Alhaji Tukur Danfulani, the State Chairman of the APC, during a gathering of party stakeholders at Senator Yari’s residence in Talata Mafara.
In explaining the purpose behind this gesture, Senator Yari emphasised his desire to alleviate the economic challenges faced by the stakeholders and supporters, enabling them to partake in the festivities fully.
Highlighting the importance of the welfare packages, he encouraged APC supporters to pray for the success of their leaders and the party at all levels.
Expressing his gratitude to the party loyalists, Senator Yari commended them for their unwavering support and loyalty during the recent general elections across the country.
Furthermore, he reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the administration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, particularly in tackling the issue of insecurity and other heinous crimes.
Senator Yari expressed, “The outcomes of the general polls and the National Assembly elections were merely stepping stones towards realising our political aspirations. Therefore, we will remain steadfast in our loyalty to the party and the government to attract development.”
This recent donation follows Senator Yari’s distribution of 400 rams and 1000 cows to supporters, along with an additional 500 rams to his neighbours in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of the state a few days ago.
