Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has charged those playing politics of bitterness to change their ways as politics is only about interest and not a do or die affair.

Governor Fubara gave the charge while playing host to the Senate Ad-hoc Committee on Refinery Turnaround Maintenance led by the Chairman, Sen. Ifeanyi Uba in Government House, Port Harcourt on Friday.

The governor emphasised that politics is about interest as ones worse enemy today could become his best friend tomorrow describing it as unfortunate for people to think it is about life or death.

“Permit me to say this, anybody who disrespects no matter how small the person in authority, no matter how you think you have succeeded, it will come back to you in a bitter way.”
