Tinubu tells Atiku: “I have moved to Abuja”
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced his relocation from Lagos to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
Tinubu made the announcement during a brief meeting with his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart in Abuja.
Both presidential candidates met yesterday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport’s private wing in Abuja.
When Tinubu and Atiku met, the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, and a former PDP presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatudeen, were at the airport.
While Tinubu was on his way to Jos, Plateau State, to launch his presidential campaign, Atiku was on his way to Lagos.
Both presidential candidates exchanged pleasantries during the meeting.
The former Vice President inquired whether Tinubu was returning to his home state, but Tinubu replied that he had relocated to Abuja.
“Are you going to Lagos?” inquired the former vice president.
Tinubu responded, saying, “I have relocated to Abuja.”
