Bala pinpoints new signings impact in Tornadoes’ win against Wikki
Niger Tornadoes head coach, Abubakar Bala has highlighted the impact of his new signings in Wednesday’s 2-0 victory against Wikki Tourists.
The Ikon Allah Boys recruited six new players during the mid-season transfer window.
Their arrival has impacted positively on the team’s performance as Tornadoes have won their last two games.
The Minna club are now favourites to secure a Super Six place.
Bala admitted that the new players have given the team a new boost with their quality.
“The new players we brought in have added more quality to the team and more competition as well. Our team is stronger than what we have at the start of the season.
“They gave us a big boost and it reflected in the result we got in the last two games. We can only build on this and not relent,” he said
