Champions League: Klopp slams Liverpool stars over 4-1 defeat to Napoli
By Adeleye Kunle
Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has slammed his players after their defeat against Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday, describing it as the ‘worst’ performance of his reign at the club.
Klopp’s men were thrashed 4-1 in Napoli and would have been worse if not for Victor Osimhen’s missed penalty and it summed up the Red’s lacklustre start to the campaign.
Though the German boss suffered some heavy defeats during the early days of his reign at Anfield, he recognised the defeat in Naples as all there more surprising.
“It was a real horror show. It was the worst game we played since I have been here. Some will point at games against Aston Villa for example,” Klopp told Liverpool’s official website
