EPL: Potter makes a decision on Chelsea’s signing of Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chelsea manager Graham Potter is said to be “unenthused” about the possibility of signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.

Ronaldo’s second spell at Manchester United appears to be coming to an end following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan in which he slammed manager Erik ten Hag and the club’s hierarchy.

United are now considering terminating the 37-year-old’s contract.

The contract is for seven months and is worth over £500,000 per week.

Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly had looked into signing Ronaldo during the summer transfer window, but the manager at the time, Thomas Tuchel, had rejected the idea.

Tuchel was reportedly concerned that Ronaldo’s arrival would disrupt the dressing room.

According to MailOnline, Boehly may rekindle his interest in a possible deal with Jorge Mendes next year.

Potter, on the other hand, is said to be “equally unenthused” about having the Portugal captain in his Chelsea squad as Tuchel.
