EPL: Supercomputer predicts possible finish for Chelsea, City, others on final table
By Adeleye Kunle
After eleven games in the Premier League so far this season, a supercomputer has predicted where Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal, among others, will finish in the 2022/2023 Premier League season.
Arsenal is currently on top of the Premier League table with 2 points ahead of second position Manchester City and 5 points ahead of third place Tottenham Hotspur.
According to a supercomputer from FiveThirtyEight, Man City should still win the Premier League comfortably by finishing in the first position on the log.
But Arsenal will give Pep Guardiola’s side a run for their money throughout the campaign.
The supercomputer suggested that there is a 71% chance that Man City would win the league title, with Arsenal expected to finish in the second position while having a 14% chance of winning their first league title since 2004.
Also, Man City are expected to pick up 87 points from their 38 matches, finishing with a comfortable advantage of 12 points over Arsenal’s predicted tally of 75.
Liverpool and Chelsea are expected to take the remaining places in the top four, with Manchester United predicted to finish fifth and Tottenham Hotspur sixth
