EPL: They’re off top four finish – Glenn Hoddle reveals who’s Chelsea’s big problem
Former Premier League manager, Glenn Hoddle has identified the big problem with Chelsea.
Hoddle pointed out that with the way the Blues are approaching their matches, they will not find a space in the top four of the Premier League this term.
Pundits believe that nothing has changed at Stamford Bridge since Thomas Tuchel was shockingly sacked by new owners led by Todd Boehly.
The Blues have remained inconsistent under Graham Potter, only managing to score 20 times in 16 games.
The English manager has continued to try different styles of play, using different players in different positions as he tries to build a team at Stamford Bridge.
And Hoddle believes this has been a major issue for the Stamford Bridge landlord, suggesting that it now looks like the Englishman is getting confused.
Chelsea took the lead against Nottingham Forest on Sunday through Raheem Sterling but were pegged back in the second half by a Serge Aurier volley.
Aubameyang wasted the Blues’ one and only clear chance in the second half and missed a great chance to score late on.
“With the way they’re playing, they’re off [top four finish]. They’re way off it actually. Players have got to respond better,” Hoddle said on Premier League Productions
