EPL: Without them Arsenal can’t win title – Ian Wright names three most important players
Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has named three players that without them Mikel Arteta’s side may not see their title dream come through.
Wright thinks it would be difficult for Arsenal to win the league this season without the services of those three stars.
He said the Gunners have a ‘very good chance’ of claiming the EPL title this season with Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Thomas Partey remaining fit and sound.
Arsenal drew 0-0 with Newcastle United on Tuesday and are now eight points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.
However, Pep Guardiola’s side could close the gap to five points on Thursday night if they are able to beat Chelsea.
“If there are a couple of injuries it could be a different story.
“But when you look at the team this season, Saka’s done it, Partey’s done it, Odegaard has done it.
“Those are the ones, if Partey, Odegaard and Saka stay fit…, then I think Arsenal have got a very good chance of winning the league,” Wright said
