Official communications partner of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), MTN’s Chief Executive Officer, Olutokun Toriola, has expressed confidence in the ability of the Super Eagles to go all the way to the final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroun.

Toriola, who assured the Super Eagles of his firm’s support to their campaign in Cameroun, said, “we trust the team and we believe that our players will make the country proud in Cameroun. We are relentlessly backing them to bring home the trophy.”

He also restated his support for the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF and the coaching crew, adding, “We trust the knowledge and leadership qualities of the NFF president and the coaching crew. They have shown incredible commitment to the team.

MTN Nigeria signed a three-year multi-million naira partnership deal with the NFF on September 2, 2021, which made the firm the official communications partner for the Super Eagles and other national teams.

MTN has long supported the Super Eagles before the official documentation. Earlier last year, the mobile communications outfit provided two 24-seater boats for the Super Eagles trip to Porto Novo to face the Republic of Benin in a Cameroun 2021 qualifier.
