U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles sweat on Daga’s fitness ahead of Egypt clash
Officials of Nigeria’s U-20 side, the Flying Eagles, are eagerly waiting to know the severity of reliable midfielder Daniel Daga’s injury.
.
Daga was stretchered off in the first half of Nigeria’s 1-0 defeat to the Cubs of Senegal on Sunday.
The youngster was replaced by Jonathan Nicholas.
There are fears the Dakkada FC player may not feature again in the competition.
It was learnt that officials of the team are still working round the clock to ascertain the severity of the injury.
The Flying Eagles will take on the Young Pharaohs of Egypt in their second group game at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations on Wednesday
