Victor Ezeji backs Rivers United to make it to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup
Former Enyimba forward, Victor Ezeji has backed Rivers United to make it to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Rivers United were paired against Tanzanian champions, Young Boys in the quarter-final draw on Wednesday night.
Should the Nigeria Premier Football League champions progress to the last four, they will face either Egypt’s Pyramid or Murano of South Africa
Having navigated through a tough group that has ASEC Mimosa, Daring Club Motema Pembe and Diable Noirs, Ezeji is adamant the Port Harcourt club will be among the finalists.
“Rivers United will do everything possible to make it to the finals of the competition for the first time in their history,” Ezeji said.
“They have enough quality players in their ranks to make it happen. I’m backing them to go all the way,” he stated
