Warri Wolves goalkeeper targets more clean sheets in remaining NNL fixtures
Warri Wolves goalkeeper, Joke Elvis, has expressed his desire to end the 2023 Nigeria National League season on a high.
Elvis, who joined the Seasiders at the start of the 2023 Nigeria National League season from J Atete, has recorded six clean sheets so far in the season.
He admitted that the season has been demanding but the commitment from the players has been keeping the team on.
The Federation Cup Round of 32 penalty hero for Warri Wolves against Shooting Stars opined that the team still has a lot to play for in the remaining two fixtures in the league.
“It is football and we have this mentality of ‘it is not over until it is over’. If we pick all six points at home, anything can still happen,” he told the club’s media.
“The competitions so far this season has been very tasking but was possible due to total commitment from other players in the team, the defence line and the technical crew. “
