Insecurity: Civil Defence begins training of private guards on intelligence gathering

Following the endless security challenges across the country, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has commenced training on intelligence gathering with private security guards in Abuja.
The training, which started by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command of the NSCDC over the weekend, had operatives of private security firms in the territory in attendance.
Head of Department of Private Guards Company (PGC) of Corps, Deputy Commandant Tijani Usman commended the Commandant General of Corps, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi for packaging a programme that would empower private guards amid security challenges in the country.
According to him, the success of the corps on the field in Nigeria today was as a result of professionalism, courage and a proactive approach by the operatives, which have been the yearnings of the Commandant General
